Ever since doing the My Year of Mixtapes blog, it seems I’m always whipping these things up for various media outlets…here are 3 more super-fun party mixtapes!
My new album, Women’s Studies, came out this week on Planet Mu Records!
It’s a genre-hopping booty opus featuring guest performances from MC ZULU, Warrior Queen, DJ Spinn, Mungo’s Hi-Fi, Johnny Moog, Coool Dundee of DMG$, Popeye, and Rubi Dan.
It’s my best work to date and I am REALLY proud of it.
Go buy my remix of “Mitte Riddim” by Tvyks & C.Monts, out now on Meanbucket records. It’s a seriously bass-heavy bashment/house tune with some disco throwback elements to it. The original was one of my fave UK Funky tunes from last year, so I’m really pleased that I was able to be a part of the remix EP. It’s available via iTunes, Beatport, Juno Download, and pretty much everywhere else.
The new vid for “Bussin Down” from me & DJ Spinn has been getting a LOT of attention:

awesome UK bass blog THE FAT CLUB put it up as well: (fat club link)
shortly thereafter RESIDENT ADVISOR caught wind of the vid: (RA link)
followed by CHICAGO READER, as part of their Pitchfork Festival lineup announcement: (reader link)
finally the friendly folks at PALMS OUT SOUNDS blasted it: (palms out link)
but perhaps the most glowing review was from FACT MAGAZINE: (fact link)
